The Elam McKnight Band has reached #1 on the Country Blues Album Chart for their album “RADIO”.

“We are very pleased at the response our album “Radio” has gotten. People are playing it all over the world and we are getting contacted with so many positive things” said the band’s namesake Elam McKnight. “We are prepared to make some really cool appearances in the coming weeks and months and look forward to seeing everyone and performing all the songs from this album.”

Elam McKnight, acclaimed roots artist from West Tennessee, needed a band of note. After over twelve years of recording and touring as a solo artist, McKnight searched for the perfect band to solidify the live sound he was reaching for. It took three years to find the magic. Enter 62-year-old Blues Man Dudley Harris on bass and vocals. Joining Harris in the rhythm section is Jackson native and resident, Eddie Phillips. The latest member, Tucker Carroll, is a 14-year-old year old guitar virtuoso whose skills belie his short time on Earth.

This crew is a true rarity, a multi-generational band whose roster spans three generations of gifted musicians all steeped in the traditional music of their region.
